Account & Data Deletion

You can permanently delete your Saydo account and all associated data (tasks, calendar events, voice transcriptions, and profile information) at any time.

Option 1 — Delete in the app:

  • Open Saydo → ProfileSettingsDelete Account
  • Confirm. Your account and data are removed immediately.

Option 2 — Request by email:

  • Email support@usesaydo.com from the address linked to your account.
  • Subject: "Delete My Account"
  • We'll confirm and complete deletion within 7 days.

Partial data deletion:

Want to delete specific data (e.g. voice history, calendar sync data) without closing your account? Email support@usesaydo.com with a description of what you'd like removed.

Subscriptions

Cancel: iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Saydo → Cancel. Access continues until the end of your billing period.

Restore purchases: open Saydo → Profile → Restore Purchases. If you were charged but don't see access, email support with your receipt.

Common Issues

  • Voice recording not working: iOS Settings → Saydo → enable Microphone.
  • "Network error": check your internet connection — transcription requires it.
  • Sign-in issues: make sure you're signed into iCloud (Apple) or use email verification.
  • Most other issues: force-close the app and reopen.

Privacy

Voice recordings are encrypted in transit, transcribed, and the audio is deleted immediately — we only store the text.
